The DPJ Foundation is looking to add to its small staff team with an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individual who will help us drive forward our marketing (in particular our social media marketing) and engagement with our supporters, whilst supporting the administration of the charity.

Location: Homebased with occasional travel throughout Wales and to the head office in Pembrokeshire
Hours of work: Usually 37 hours per week but flexibility in hours is essential
Contract: 1 Year
Accountable to: Charity Manager
Salary range: £17,000 – £19,000 (depending on experience)

The successful candidate will have experience of using social media to influence and promote. You will be able to bring this experience to the role to help us engage with our audiences across all our social media platforms. You will work with colleagues to develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies and content that reflect the aims and ethos of the DPJ Foundation. You will be confident in developing the charity’s website and working with our website developer to maximise engagement with the platform.
You will have a can-do attitude and a flexible approach to the role as working in a small team in a growing charity it will be necessary to undertake other duties from time to time. This will include supporting the manager and training manager with day-to-day administration duties.
You will be keen to learn and to develop the role which will include elements of content creation alongside general administration. You must be able to work as part of a remote team as well as independently, using your own initiative, and have the ability to manage multiple projects and workloads as well as working to deadlines and meeting targets. This role will enable the right candidate to put their own stamp on The DPJ Foundation social media and marketing under the support of our manager.
The role will give you the opportunity to undertake training and to develop your knowledge of the operations of a small, but ambitious charity and of mental health in agriculture.
As our social media content and responses must be bi-lingual the ability to write conversationally in Welsh is essential.
This role is for a fixed term of 12 months.
We may consider offering part time working.
